Born in the back of an ambulance on the thirtieth day of June nineteen hundred and seventy, Derry had produced yet another would be effing musician. (Well I was crap at football) Inspired by the Country collection of me Da, the Rocker collection of our Peter, the Punk collection of our Jimmy and the New Wave collection of our Sean, both me and our Paul (the two youngest) started to make our own sounds on cheap guitars bought on the never-never. Knowing early on that I would never be Bruce Springsteen I decided to be John Prine instead. To cut a short story shorter I started writing songs and in the cold winter of 1991 I met Deccy McLaughlin and I knew from then on I was in trouble. We formed the now legendary giant killers "The Screaming Bin Lids" and later nearly won the cup with "The Whole Tribe Sings" I retired injured fearing I would never walk on the pitch again, but here I am, back with a new band and new songs. We have just released our debut album which can be purchased here via paypal, cdbaby and all the usual download sites.
Since the release of their critically acclaimed debut album in 2010, Paddy and his Happy Enchiladas have played the clubs of Ireland North and South as well as an extensive tour of England playing the legendary Hope & Anchor among others. Their unique blend of Folk-Pop-Punk has left audiences reveling in the rich lyrics and big melodies.
Paddy has also enjoyed huge solo success playing the LeftField stage at Glastonbury in 2011 and supporting Billy Bragg on his Irish Tour.
The new album "Times of Transition" will be released in June 2012 and Paddy and his Enchiladas intend to maintain their Cult status as the band who'll get you thinking and make you dance on the table all at the same time.

Paddy Nash’s latest album with his band The Happy Enchiladas is a fairly decent representation of the man himself. It’s upbeat, thought provoking and it gets to the point in a way that isn’t over imposing. Most of all, after listening, you’ll be left with a smile on your face. During an otherwise ... read more

Times of Transition ~ By Paddy Nash & The Happy Enchiladas
Times of Transition is the most ambitious album so far from the band, Paddy Nash and the Happy Enchiladas. Some of my favorite songs are included here ... read more
